If you are a kid free adult, you have had the luxury of living without child proofing your home. But as the holidays roll around, your childfree home may have a little visitor, is your home ready?

According to The Home Safety Council, based in Washington, the most important thing to do is hide all matches and lighters. As adults we think nothing of leaving lighters and matches lying around and we also underestimate the catastrophic damage they can cause. Be sure to remove that temptation from any child entering your home.
